Rustica Tobacco

There are three main varieties namely Rustica(Hubly- Bubbly) tobaccos, grown on the Indian West coast in Gujarat state. This sun cured variety is required for high nicotine levels and harvested by stalk cutting. Apart from being used in the preparation of Hookah paste, these varieties are also blended to Bidi manufacture. Considerable quantities of these tobaccos are exported to Middle Eastern countries.
